I would recommend everyone to have a scientific attitude toward things, and you dont have to be a scientist to have that. It really helps when in everyday life you can take a good decision about where to shop because you are good at math, or which food to buy because you can understand what the ingredients at the back of the packet mean.

And then if you like science, come on board!

Oh yeah, definitely. You get paid to discover stuff – there’s nothing cooler than that! How many other people look forward to going into work every morning?

Yes! You get to spend all day discovering new things about the universe, which is really exciting.

If you’re the sort of person that asks a lot of question I would definitely recommend being a scientist. We get paid to ask questions and try and answer them every day and there’s so many parts to science that there can be something interesting for everyone 🙂

Definitely! You get paid to learn about the world we live in and our Universe and every day is new and special – much more interesting than other jobs where you do the same thing every day. When you’re a scientist ever day is new and special!
