I don’t know! I think there is a theory that while we sleep our brains process the information we have gained during the day and store it for us and that we can sometimes perceive this as a dream. There is a lot of research into how our brains work so that we can better understand them and help people with brain problems. I think this is a really important area of research at the moment, what do you think?

No one knows! Different scientists have different theories about this. For example, some people think that dreams are our brains’ way of processing all the information we’ve gained during the day.

The brain is one of the least well understood things in all of science. Lots of scientists are working on trying to understand it better, to help us answer questions like this.

I don’t know, and no-one else does. It could be the brain sorting out stuff for us while we sleep. The strange thing is that no-one is sure why we sleep either. Maybe the two are connected?

As all of others have said, we dont know. Is not it fun to find that there are so many things we still dont know after so much of research?

I think everyone’s answered this question with the right answer: there is no answer! yet…! We’re looking at how the brain is made, all the connections inside it and even its activity during dreams so hopefully we might work something out as it’s really interesting!
