Francesca Day answered on 18 Mar 2014:
Hair and nails are made of dead skin, which continues to be produced even after we’ve stopped growing. Sorry I don’t know any more details than that!
Alan Fitzsimmons answered on 18 Mar 2014:
I don’t know for sure, but I know that they don’t continue growing for long.
Nick Wright answered on 21 Mar 2014:
Some parts of our bodies can keep working for a short amount of time after we’ve died, just because they might have a bit of leftover energy to keep doing their jobs for a little bit longer. It won’t last long but it is possible.
