I met Neil deGrasse Tyson a few years ago when he came to the University I was at to give a talk – it was great, he’s such a smart and passionate speaker. He’s got a new TV show on Sky1 coming soon called Cosmos – I’d highly recommend you watching it!

I met Peter Higgs! He is a very reserved guy, and also very humble.

Ooh, tough question. I met Peter Higgs too, he was a nice guy as Deepak says. I also did a tv show with Brian Cox, who is very popular on TV.

I met Peter Higgs at CERN. He’s famous for discovering the “Higgs Boson”, the particle that gives other particles mass. He was a really nice guy, and seemed very quiet and shy. I also bumped into Jocelyn Bell in the bathroom – she’s famous for discovering pulsars, which are old stars.

I’ve met Sir Paul Nurse before. He’s the president of the Royal Society and was awarded a Nobel Prize in 2001. He’s done a lot of work on cell cycles and is a really funny guy! He’s been on TV and radio quite a lot talking about how scientists can talk to the public as well as about his work.
