In an ideal world, a lecturer in a University, teaching physics, and doing my research. But it is hard predicting the future, so I try to do things I do now as well as I can, and try not to worry about the rest too much!

Hopefully, I’ll still be doing research in particle physics! I’d also like to be more involved in talking to schools and the public about science in projects like this one 🙂

Pretty much where I am now, an astronomer in a University having fun doing science and teaching students about cool stuff.

      I wouldn’t want any other job 🙂

I hope I’m still doing research like I am now! Hopefully I have had some success in answering some of the questions I’m working on now, so perhaps I’m working to solve other mysteries in astronomy. Perhaps there will have been an exciting new discovery in the next five years and I’ll be working to understand that!

Hopefully I’ll have finished my PhD and would be doing what’s called a postdoc job. I think I’ll want to stay in the same area of research but who knows what I might get interested in by then. I have thought about emigrating to Australia though…
