• Question: What's it like working with the LHC?

      It is intense, but fun. We have the machine running 24/7, data coming out all the time, and a rival experiment trying to get results out before us!

      Essentially, it is science in an industrial scale. Since there are 3000 people in our collaboration, we have groups, sub groups to organise the work. That also means you always have to work in sync with your collaborators, sometime from across the world. So that is definitely a learning experience. But it is also very humbling to work with so many great scientists.
