Personally I’m only just starting my proper research but already I have some exciting results! I’ve found a few specific mutations in some children with epilepsy and learning disorders that I need to investigate to see if they are actually the cause. It would be cool if they were because then I can say that I’ve helped these specific children. These mutations aren’t actually in the genes themselves as I look in the DNA that isn’t part of the genes and is next to them instead so no one else has seen some of these mutations before!
