That’s tricky, I’m not sure I can pick just one thing! At the moment, we enjoy discussing what, if anything, the Large Hadron Collider will discover when it is turned on again!

Contrary to what many people think, we actually talk about all the usual things, like sports, politics, weather, holidays plans…what not! We also discuss our work, and try to find solutions when we are stuck.

Lots of things! Science projects, cool pictures sent back from spacecraft (like Curiosity on Mars or the Hubble Space Telescope), what we saw on tv last night, and where to go on holiday.

Oh, and who ate all chocolate biscuits at coffee time 🙁

There’s so much to discuss! Sometimes we talk about new results and discoveries, or sometimes we talk about things we’ve done recently. Science is very social though and we get together very regularly to discuss things – its mostly from talking to other scientists that we learn about new results, methods and discoveries!
