There are a lot of options. A friend of mine did biochemistry and is now training to be a dentist!
Careers involving a biochemistry degree directly can be (examples):
Biomedical scientist
Clinical biochemist
Clinical research associate
Forensic scientist
University lecturer
Research scientist (life sciences)
Toxicologist
And careers where the degree could be useful but not necessarily used include:
Chartered accountant
Health and safety inspector
Patent examiner
Science writer
Science degrees can open a lot of doors outside of science as it is such a well respected degree choice 🙂
