That’s a big question with a lot of possible answers! It really depends what the disease is. Different diseases have different symptoms depending on what they are affecting in your body. When babies are born there are some tests that we do for common diseases for example looking at the blood and seeing if something is wrong there. However some life threatening or dangerous diseases can occur later in life, like cancer. These can have lots of symptoms or only a few so it is always a good idea to keep an eye on your body and know if anything changes. There is no one sign that says if a person is affected by a dangerous or life threatening disease.
