• Question: Is it true that stars might not be there anymore because they are so far away and it takes a long time for the sight of them to get to us!!??

      Yes it is true! Light doesn’t travel instantaneously, it takes time to travel from the star to our eyes (or our telescopes) – just like a letter takes time to travel to its destination. So the light from some of the stars that we see may have started on their journey hundreds or thousands of years ago. It’s possible that the stars themselves aren’t there any more, which is kinda weird because it means we’re seeing into the past!
