Question: is being a scientist hard?

It can be, although it is incredibly enjoyable. I would recommend being a scientist to anyone who enjoys a challenge and solving puzzles as that’s basically what we do. We ask hard questions to find answers which then usually lead to even harder questions. It can be hard to think up new ideas, questions and answers but the challenge is the enjoyable bit, and when you actually figure something out it makes everything worthwhile! Being a scientist is hard because you’re exploring unknown ideas and puzzles that no one has done before but that’s also what makes it so exciting and enjoyable!
