It’s hard to know precisely because we can’t count them all, but we think there are about 10 billion (10,000,000,000) stars in our galaxy and we think there are about 100 billion (100,000,000,000) galaxies, so if all of those galaxies contain the same amount of stars that would make a total of a thousand billion billion stars, or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars!
