I started doing my PhD in physics in 2003, so it has been l-o-n-g! Time flies, I guess 🙂

But then, there is never a line. You love science, and learn science, and then you are a scientist!

A long time! I got my PhD 25 years ago, so at least that long. The great thing is that being scientist never stops being interesting.

Unlike Deepak and Alan I’ve only just started my PhD! I did a 3 year science degree and graduated last summer so if you count that, 3 and a half years with many more years ahead of me! 🙂

Like Lillian, I’ve only just started my PhD. If count from when I started doing science at university it’s 4 and a half years.

I started my PhD in 2004, which is I guess when I started being a scientist, so I guess that’s almost 10 years now!
