• Question: Hi Francesca! I know that you are researching axions at the moment, and seeing if they actually exist, because they could help you with the string theory. But if you discover that axions don't exist, what will you move on to researching? Is there another way that will help you to determine whether the string theory is correct?

      That’s a very interesting question 🙂

You are right – my research might lead me to think that axions don’t exist after all. In that case, I think I would like to research more about the structure of the Universe – how all the stars and galaxies are arranged and how they are moving. This might help us find out more about what exactly is in the Universe and how it began.
