Yes! I’ve seen shooting stars a few times. You have to go to a place with very little light pollution (caused by artificial lights form cities) and concentrate very hard, because each shooting star only lasts for a couple of seconds. It’s worth it though! Sadly you can’t see them very often, you have to wait until there is a meteor shower.

Yes lots. You need to go somewhere dark with no streetlights, no cloud, and time it so the Moon isn’t in the sky. Then you can see about 1 every 10 minutes or so. During a shooting star shower you can see one about once a minute. They don’t happen very often, but there is one every August 12th in the Summer. If you can go somewhere dark with you family you could watch them, that’s what we do.

Yes I’ve seen many shooting stars. They are most common during meteor showers at certain times of the year, so that’s the best time to see one. The next big meteor shower is the Lyrids on the 21st April. If you go to a dark sight on that evening and look up you’ll see lots of meteors! I’d highly recommend it, they can be really amazing to see!
