For us they will always be there, but only because our lives are so short.

The sun will die eventually, but it will be in 5 billion years time.

As old stars die, new stars are being born. We see this happening today with our telescopes. We think this will keep happening for hundreds of billions of years.

We’re not sure of the Moon will always be there. It may be that when the sun dies it will destroy the Earth, and the Moon with it But that’s so far in the future no one is worrying about it.
