I don’t think I’ve ever found science uncomfortable! Once I did an experiment on crystals that broke down when you shone light on them, so I had to sit in a really dark room every day to do it. That wasn’t very fun, but it was worth it in the end when I made some exciting new crystals 🙂

Errr, nothing. Science is the way we find out how things happen in the natural world and why they happen. Some people might be uncomfortable about finding out why some things happen, but you can’t blame science for giving you the information.

My original desk chair when I came to the lab was quite uncomfortable but then I swapped it in for a new one that’s much better… I’m not sure if I’ve ever found any science uncomfortable though!

Sometimes you think something is true, and then scientific investigation tell you that is wrong. That can become uncomfortable, to get rid of your long held ideas 🙂

Sometimes if you have an idea or a theory and you you do an experiment and prove it not to be true that can be quite uncomfortable. You have to learn to change or adjust your theory in those situations!
