Science is a way of understanding what happens. It’s a way of organising facts and using them to discover new things about our world and our Universe. It can be applied to everything from the smallest living cell your body to the largest galaxies in the Universe.

      And it’s fun 🙂

Science is a way of understanding the universe based on the evidence of what we see around us. The crucial thing about scientific theories is that they should be falsifiable i.e. it should be possible to disprove them if what we observe doesn’t match up with what they predict.

Science is about understanding everything in the world both inside us and outside. From the very very small to the very very big! It’s fun, exciting and fast because we are constantly learning new things and being proven right or wrong! You have to keep on your toes to work in science…!

Science is the pursuit of information and answers! It is a quest to understand the world around us by asking questions, thinking up ideas and theories, and doing experiments to test those ideas.
