It’s hard to define exactly when the Earth’s atmosphere ends and space begins, but we usually say that space is 100km above sea level.

Depends on how you define space, but as Francesca says, we can say its where the atmosphere ends.

Well space actually isn’t that far away, it starts where our atmosphere ends, which is only about 100 km above us (about 70 miles). But most of the things in space like stars and planets are a lot further away than that because space is really really big. Does that answer your question?

The official boundary of space is 60 miles up above the ground. So if you go up that high above the ground, you’re officially in space!
