• Question: How can you collect light from astronomical objects that are millions of km away?

      It’s easy, just use a telescope to collect it. In fact when we look just with our eyes in the night sky we can see planets like Jupiter and Mars. So our eyes can do it, but using a telescope means we collect more light than our eyes so the things look brighter.
